After 20 years as a U.S. Army Ranger and Senior Chief Warrant Officer, he spent his career doing one thing exceptionally well: keeping complex mechanical systems operational when failure wasn't an option. He was the guy commanders called when military equipment needed to stay operational — managing maintenance teams on repairs, diagnosing problems under pressure, and making sure nothing stayed broken.
